He told her lets make a promise that both of us will never break…and break he did of every part of her heart. They were young and so in love. But it is true when they say time changes everything and every one. So here is the story of a gypsy traveling in time…
During one of my Gypsy soul travels, I had landed in a place where my intuition, my gut feelings got impeded in a masquerade, and as I was enjoying the party, the dress ups, the music, the glitter, the dancing, I couldn’t make up at that time, the show was just a “bal masqué” and the lesson I learnt later on, it was just a dress up party, that I took too seriously and believed those characters behind the masks… anyways, seems like everyone had taken their part too seriously as well, and so cheers to them!
Life should go on I tell myself as I have to mend that gypsy heart of mine with every dawn, convinced that this too shall pass,
“Just dance with the music, enjoy the masquerade, honour your mask, for masks, just like words will fall off one day and will uncover what lies behind”.
Honour your word, for what do you get to lose? You might have thought that it is just a word, right?
A word you said, a promise you made, a hug you gave, a time you spent, a moment you shared, a hand you shook, can not be long forgotten, even if you might think so, or you might want to believe or make believe,
Don’t play the double standard game, it will come back to haunt you…wherever you are in life, a day will come and you will realise, this mask you had on, this act you put, is short lived,
You might have underestimated that person because you thought less of them, blinded by your ego and by your indifference,
That day, when you ignored, became cold, pretended you never said what you said, or intended what you said…
Words have memories you see…they get engraved in the universe, they fly in the air, they travel in space,
Words have power you see…they echo in the past, they shine in the moment and they travel in the future, then they flow back at you in the now, no matter when now will be…
Words are magic codes driven by intention, so say what you mean and mean what you say…words are like a boomerang,
Words are colour, words are sound, words are emotion, words are truth, words are real, words are passion, words are love…
Words are vibrations, so strong they can even change the shape of a snow flake,
Words are beautiful, sacred transactions, make them blessed, by the simple act of honouring your word.
This post was written 6 years ago and was never published the context was different. But since this topic is universal, I realised 6 years ago I had never thought I will publish it with such a cause in mind.
“I never thought I will publish this with a cause in mind.”
The future is a mystery. revealing itself moment my moment.

It is also good not to be so, My true preference is peace and stillness. In 1972, when I began exploring Zen and Tao I composed this quatrain:
DOING NOTHING
In doing nothing
My time is all used up.
How then
Shall I broaden my activity?

Interesting ☺️ I think balance is key…amd zen and tao are a dream for me …far far away dream…unattainable

Then it shall of course remain so.
And I agree with you balance.
