Just another sip and things will turn around,
Waiting at the corner, for your shadow to appear,
To tell me the story of your adventure,
Just another walk in the old pebbled street
Watching those artists colour the atmosphere with their originality,
Just another peek at the window of that chocolate shop, with its lustrous chandelier splashing magical rainbow light and fairy dust that smells like vanilla and pink roses, all over
Admiring those beautiful miniature artisans that will melt in my mouth,
Just a short break at my favourite bakery
Enjoying that smell of freshly baked breads and savouries,

fairy dusts and chocolate magic neuchatel
Just another walk down the train station to lift my spirits up
Serenading me with the promises of tomorrow,
Just another meet up at “Les Cafes des Artistes”
Savouring the beautiful aromas of coffee and hot chocolate as their steam dance on the rim of our cups like floating ballerinas, and let us not forget that last bite of quiche Lorraine, so splendid, so tasty, simply made with love by a third generation of chefs
As I walk up the pavement, taken aback by the sculptures and history of this magnificent place, hold on….
Just another window-shopping at my favourite local watchmaker and famous Jeweller,
Dwelling into the sparkles of such beauties, those watches each telling a time of its own character,
As I reach the top of that mosaic painted street, I am met with old friends;
The smell of cheese and wine, in that antique Brasserie, at the top of the hill, crowned by the ancient mythical castle,
Inviting us to sit and enjoy that mesmerising ambience, sipping away, in our conversation,
Our voices get louder with enthusiasm, as we share our stories from across the seas and get taken aback in time,
Such a wonderful moment to reminisce, unforgettable memories, beating with life, stimulating all my senses,
Designing my future with grand anticipation,
For, how often can one step out of time, to enjoy, time in its purest essence and enliven each and every bit of his being?
Nice one!

Artful use of imagery. The old pebbled street is a microcosm of the world it seems.
