A Love Long Lost…

Standard

Dear memory,

You crossed my mind today.

I smiled, as I remembered how you made me laugh.

My heart sang with joy, when I remembered how you inspired me to create.

I saw you looking at me, those eyes from the past, a stare of respect, a stare of longing, a stare that set me free.

That look, it coloured my world with dreams, with love, with lust, with poems.

You are special.

I miss you, I miss us and I miss the person I was.

I hope life is treating you well. I know it should for you are wise.

Thank you for bringing out the best in me,

Thank you for those colourful memories.

Until we meet again

???????????????????????????????
Dear friends,
My expectations in life were reduced to zero, the day I decided to undergo tracheotomy for continuous mechanical ventilation, without which I couldn’t spare life’s end. Every day since that moment seems like a new birth in life for me.
Today, it’s my second birthday, and I’d like to share with you the experience I had during these two years. I could put end to my life, but it would be a big mistake. Life is beautiful even with so dark conditions. There is always something to do and succeed in it; and I haven’t done badly.
In the first year, I’ve wrote two books: Ma vie, mon histoire and Conseils pratiques pour la santé des enfants.
In the second year, I’ve signed them via Skype, from my bed and because of my physical conditions, during the French book exhibition of Beirut at the end of October 2012…

What if…?

What if?

What if today was the beginning of spring and the end of my Gypsy soul journey?
What if tomorrow is winter and the beginning of my adventure?

wandering

What if today, I truly find peace and tomorrow,
I will be remembered for my lost days, my lonesome trips, my plea for love?

What if I land in a place where I am not left alone, where every creature knows how to love,
where family is not a word, where sadness is non existent.

Today, I long for eternity.
I want to go back, I am ready.

What if life, will forgive me and I can be set free, to a place that knows no time, no pain, no fear, no hate, no commitment except that of love, of giving and of mastery.

Today, I am ready to go back,
and leave that memory.

What if, that time, is today?

Barefoot

Standard

Stop for a while,
Keep your shoes on,
Walk,
Look around you:

“walk”

Don’t they all look alike?
Don’t they all look like variations of colors splashed on a painting?
Some colorful, some cheerful,
Some dull, some indifferent and some faceless?
Doesn’t it feel like a theatrical, a play?
Some are good performers, some are not so good and some don’t fit in?
Sometimes you see their mouths open and close, yet you do not hear their voices, you do not feel marveled, you simply do not feel,
Or you might feel uneasy, unwell, un-amused, or shadowed by their intentions,
And Sometimes you just hear their voices without them speaking and feel their passion draw you to their characters?
What a challenge it is to see what you see, hear what you hear and feel as such; yet you cannot, except be in such a circle,

Now try to walk barefoot,
Walk on, look down, look up, and look around,
Feel the ground, the heat, the cold, and the pain in your feet:

“Walk Barefoot, leave a foot print behind”

Don’t you feel exposed?
It feels good; it is the chance to know the truth, about yourself and about your surrounding,
Those who are unafraid to walk “barefoot” truly make the colors stand out of the painting, show the charisma of the performers, express the story, beam their light,
Make you shine,

The pictures, the play, the theatrical, the paintings, the characters,
Will feel real if they are genuine, and you will not feel exposed,
They will feel unreal, and …you will feel exposed
When you feel grounded, you are more attuned, and you will be able to know, to learn, to feel, to enjoy your “barefoot” pace, and walk longer no matter the ground,

People, who walked barefoot in history, are beacons of light today,
They knew the truth, shared it and taught it to those, who were not afraid to walk barefoot too,

Let us celebrate freedom and get exposed,
Fearlessly as we surround ourselves with the light,
Let us walk barefoot and enjoy every challenge,
The only ones really exposed, are those who do not have the courage to walk barefoot,
And those who do, walk on inexhaustibly and leave a footprint behind.
