New Year Reflections 2014

Reflections, 365 old pages

Another chapter is about to close,

One last page to go, the book is coming to an end,

A new one lies on the shelf of my life, and a new chapter is about to open,

New Year New Book 2014

New Year, New Book, 2014

The energy coming out of this new book is so intense, and I can’t wait to touch the first chapter,

It looks so fresh, so powerful,

It feels special, it transmits a lot of light, oh my, it is so overwhelming,

Mission of a blogger

Let us write tomorrow

As I look forward to meeting those lovely characters, traveling to new places, getting enchanted,

Hearing warm voices, exploring new dimensions, and new passions,

Learning from the experienced wise, and the rare intellectuals,

I sense a lot of anticipation, a lot of wonderful things will unfold, for me and for you,

I can’t wait to start enjoying our new story, living in the new book, and rising to the occasion,

A couple of hours until we lock that old book, and with the last chapter slowly coming to an end,

Reflections

Reflections

I say, 2013, you will be history soon,

As I turn the last page, I pray, that we bid our goodbyes in peace,

I honestly say to you, I don’t want to remember you,

Yet, I am so grateful for the lessons, the great people who crossed my path,

The passionate people who shared my story, who simply got invited into my world and wrapped me with love and light,

Who today I call genuine friends, but, that is all.

Those reflections are for today, and will be long forgotten in the past, as soon as tomorrow,

When the book will close and its’ stories will be locked in history,

And our gaze will be focused on embracing all that is NEW,

New moon Jan 2014

Blessings for a Magical 2014 to you and yours.

Feathers

Standard

You make me think,
You make me dream,
You make me realize,
We all can fly.

Feathers

Fly

As I walk through the maze of life,
I look for signs,
I look for fallen feathers on the ground,
With each lovely feather, I see a dream, an emotion, driven by freedom,
I learn of the messages this universe wants to convey, for you were once roaming above, touching freedom, coloring the sky, holding the wind and releasing beautiful energy,

Beautiful Feather

Beautiful Feather

You were once part of a cherished soul that decided to let you go, so down you swirled and touched the ground, you drifted in the pond, you fell in the lake, you swam in the ocean, wherever you have bounced,
I thank you for the wisdom, I thank you for the signs, I thank you for your beauty,

Now I know.

This post is dedicated to my beautiful grandmother who crossed over early this month. I miss you grandma. Until we meet again.

Patience, Love and Truth

Patience, Love and Truth

Lost in the many translations about life and love.

I find myself thinking, and meditating; searching, seeking and learning from the wise.

I think only time will tell the meaning of Love, Patience and Truth.

I keep reminding myself that patience is a virtue and I need to start embracing it, for:

Rome wasn’t built in a day…
and you and me… were meant to be..
walking FREE in HARMONY…
one fine day we’ll FLY AWAY…
DON’T YOU KNOW that Rome wasn’t built in a day…”

I Love those lyrics by Morcheeba

Dedication:

Tomorrow is a new day, and we shall see where the passer by will be landing.

What’s in a Word?

What’s in a Word?

Communication has always been an art form that fascinated me.

It takes great character, immense intelligence and talent to create a word in its true meaning. A “word” can tell you a lot about the speaker, his/her beliefs, ideologies and even personality. It is in the choice of words that people can distinguish themselves, they can inspire you, they can intrigue you, they can spellbound you or they can even disinterest you.

With words you can color, paint, narrate, make music, design and do much more. Words can be expressed in so many ways. Words are the most powerful gift we have been offered. Words can be spoken and unspoken, heard and unheard, they can be seen and they can be unseen. As soon as one hears, sees or even feels a word it triggers imagery in his/her mind and so it paints a picture of what the speaker is saying and if you are more of a spiritual person you can even go all the way to decode the intention of the speaker.

My story with words began as soon as I could start writing, and this is how it blossomed:

embrace your words

This year started with an unpleasant note, however, being the self driven person that I am, I decided to find a place to heal..I tried all sorts of techniques until I realized that I had an old WordPress account that needed some revamp. I look at my old account and add some passionate touches to make it more appealing, fortunately as time was my alibi, I felt a stronger desire to start writing again and it all began with the word…

I am a firm believer in energy and I do believe that words have an energy of their own so taking this belief as my starting point, I began writing and writing and writing, I couldn’t stop, I loved every bit of it, and didn’t want my thoughts to end and didn’t want my posts to finish. The best thing that happened to me this year so far, other than me passing my digital marketing postgraduate diploma assignment, is that my theory was proven to be correct, words are energy and what you write will echo in the universe and bring you the answers that your soul desires.

Today, I am happily surrounded by artists, poets, authors, writers, bloggers, designers, thought leaders, and many more charismatic and genuine minds, whose choice of words don’t cease to amaze and fascinate me; I cry with them, I laugh with them, I share their passions and their beliefs, I see beauty through their eyes, I travel the world with them, I learn about new cultures, I sail the oceans and the magical seas, I spread my wings and fly, I enjoy humanity with the words they so humbly share with me.

Now if you ask me what’s in a word? my answer will be: It is all that empowers my world.
